Channel Islands Raiders Runs Away With Early Lead in Victory
Oak Park Eagles fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 4-2 loss to Channel Islands Raiders on Saturday. Channel Islands Raiders took the lead on a double in the first inning.
Channel Islands Raiders got on the board in the first inning when R Garcia doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
J Fernandez was the winning pitcher for Channel Islands Raiders. The bulldog allowed three hits and zero runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out nine. A Alvarado threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Quest Finnan took the loss for Oak Park Eagles. The pitcher surrendered two runs on four hits over four innings, striking out three and walking zero.
Gavin Gudino, Brode Gann, Jaxon Jordan, and James Pernin each managed one hit to lead Oak Park Eagles.
