Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles Falls to Buena in Low-Scoring Affair
Both teams were strong on the hill on Saturday but Buena was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 3-1 victory over Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. Mason Tannous started the game for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles and recorded 15 outs.
Buena opened the scoring in the third after Evan singled, scoring one run.

Oak Park Varsity Eagles Fall After Strong Showing By Buena Bulldogs
Oak Park Varsity Eagles couldn’t keep up with Buena Bulldogs and fell 14-6 Saturday.
Buena Bulldogs were the first to get on the board in the first to get on the board when #7 singled, scoring one run.
Oak Park Varsity Eagles flipped the game on its head in the top of the third, scoring five runs on six hits to take a 5-3 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Henry Rizzotti that drove in two.
Jackson Weir singled on the seventh pitch of the at-bat, which helped Oak Park Varsity Eagles tie the game at the six in the top of the fifth. Weir started on the bump for Oak Park Varsity Eagles. They allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) walking one.
Oak Park Varsity Eagles amassed nine hits in the game. Tyler Kutsch, Max Brusca, and Weir each collected two hits for Oak Park Varsity Eagles. Rizzotti and Weir were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Oak Park Varsity Eagles.
