Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles With Tough Game Against Simi Valley

Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles had trouble keeping up with Simi Valley in a 23-0 loss on Monday.

Simi Valley opened the scoring in the first after #55 singled, scoring two runs.

Simi Valley added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after #28 walked, Valencia tripled down the left field line, and #55 grounded out, each scoring one run.

Simi Valley scored nine runs on six hits in the bottom of the third inning. Stones drew a walk, scoring one run, #7 was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, #28 singled, scoring one run, Valencia doubled, scoring three runs, #8 doubled, scoring two runs, and #55 scored after tagging up.

Simi Valley scored five runs on seven hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Valencia doubled, scoring one run, #19 doubled, scoring one run, #55 doubled, scoring one run, #19 singled, scoring one run, and #7 singled, scoring one run.

Aarav Motwani stepped on the hill first for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and 12 runs (nine earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking three. #28 began the game for Simi Valley. The starter surrendered two hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one.

Ewan Isaacs and Austin Irvine each collected one hit for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles.
