Oak Park Varsity Eagles had trouble keeping up with Simi Valley Varsity Pioneers in a 14-1 loss on Friday.

Simi Valley Varsity Pioneers jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Hector Pina drew a walk, scoring one run, Collin Yamamoto singled, scoring one run, Sonny De La Torre induced Jaxon Herron to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored, and error scored one run, and Liam Blake singled, scoring two runs.
