Oak Park Varsity Eagles couldn’t keep up with Camarillo Varsity Scorpions and fell 12-1 on Friday.
Camarillo Varsity Scorpions got on the board in the top of the first inning after Boston Bateman tripled, Jordan Gutierrez singled, and Brayden Smith doubled, each scoring one run.
A single by Smith extended the Camarillo Varsity Scorpions lead to 4-1 in the top of the third inning.
Sonny De La Torre lead things off the hill for Oak Park Varsity Eagles. The lefty allowed seven hits and five runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out none and walking four.
