Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles Victorious Hueneme Vikings Thanks to First Inning Boost
Five runs in the first inning led Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles past Hueneme Vikings 9-1 on Friday. Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles put the pressure on, lead by singles by Abhinav Chinnam and Griffin Hurley, an error on a ball put in play by Michael Munoz, and a double by Nico De La Torre.
Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles opened up scoring in the first inning, when De La Torre doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
