It was a tough day on Wednesday for Oak Park Eagles Frosh/Soph, who lost 9-2 to Moorpark Musketeers

Oak Park Eagles Frosh/Soph opened up scoring in the first inning. Oak Park Eagles Frosh/Soph scored one run when Abinav Chinnam tripled.

Moorpark Musketeers pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Edwards’s sac fly scored one run for Moorpark Musketeers and Eisenstein drew a walk, scoring one run.

Moorpark Musketeers scored four runs in the fourth inning. Moorpark Musketeers’s big inning was driven by singles by Gaz and May, a sac fly by Navarro, and a fielder’s choice by Edwards.

Magana earned the victory on the mound for Moorpark Musketeers. He allowed six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out four and walking zero. Eisenstein threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Dante Stefani took the loss for Oak Park Eagles Frosh/Soph. He went three innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out two.

Gavin Manzo led Oak Park Eagles Frosh/Soph with two hits in three at bats.

Gaz went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Moorpark Musketeers in hits. Moorpark Musketeers was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Eisenstein made the most plays with ten.
