Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles Stymied By Camarillo

Oak Park Junior Varsty Eagles had trouble keeping up with Camarillo in a 14-2 loss on Friday.

Camarillo got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after #4 singled, scoring one run, and an error scored three runs.

Camarillo scored six runs on two hits in the bottom of the second inning. #4 drew a walk, socring one run, #11 singled, scoring three runs, #2 drew a walk, scoring one run, and #32 grounded out, scoring one run.

Kate Newman pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. They allowed eight hits and four runs while, striking out two and walking three. Gary Gray started the game for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and four runs, (two earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking two. #20 stepped on the hill first for Camarillo. The starting pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking two.

Carter Licht, Dylan Hirsh, and Eilan Peretz each collected one hit for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. Newman and Hirsh each drove in one run for Oak Park Varsity Eagles.
