Camarillo Scorpions Captures Lead Early to Defeat Oak Park Eagles

Oak Park Eagles fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 13-0 loss to Camarillo Scorpions on Tuesday. Camarillo Scorpions took the lead on a groundout in the second inning.

The Oak Park Eagles struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Camarillo Scorpions, giving up 13 runs.

Camarillo Scorpions got on the board in the second inning when Bateman grounded out, scoring one run.

A single by Neal Purohit in the third inning was a positive for Oak Park Eagles.

Br Uribe led the Camarillo Scorpions to victory on the pitcher’s mound. The pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out 11 and walking zero. Contreras threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Jaxon Jordan took the loss for Oak Park Eagles. The bulldog lasted three innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out three and walking one.

Purohit and Aiden Cass each collected one hit to lead Oak Park Eagles.

Camarillo Scorpions scattered 16 hits in the game. Alvarez, Uribe, Hood, Schardt, and Hiji each managed multiple hits for Camarillo Scorpions. Alvarez went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Camarillo Scorpions in hits. Camarillo Scorpions didn’t commit a single error in the field. Torrero had the most chances in the field with 12.
