Five RBI Day for Max Peters Brings Victory for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles Over Camarillo Scorpions JV

Max Peters showed timely hitting on Friday, driving in five on three hits to lead Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles past Camarillo Scorpions JV 15-6 on Friday. Peters drove in runs on a double in the first, a single in the third, and a single in the fifth.

Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles grabbed an early lead. Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles scored on an error, a single by Abhinav Chinnam, and a double by Peters in the first inning.

Camarillo Scorpions JV scored three runs in the sixth inning. Camarillo Scorpions JV offense in the inning was led by Troy Arenzana and Blake Uribe, all driving in runs in the frame.

Brode Gann earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. The fireballer lasted three innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out three and walking one. Ryan Ulmen threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kadyn Hernandez took the loss for Camarillo Scorpions JV. The pitcher allowed five hits and five runs over one inning, striking out two and walking one.

Gavin Manzo started the game for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. The hurler lasted two innings, allowing four hits and three runs while walking one

Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles racked up 15 hits in the game. Peters, Ulmen, Chinnam, Aiden Cass, and Gann each had multiple hits for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. Ulmen and Peters each collected three hits to lead Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles.

Camarillo Scorpions JV scattered nine hits in the game. Uribe and Trevor Ortiguerra each collected multiple hits for Camarillo Scorpions JV. Uribe led Camarillo Scorpions JV with three hits in four at bats.
