Oak Park Eagles JV Struggles To Find Groove Against Royal Highlanders
Wednesday was a long day for Oak Park Eagles JV, falling to Royal Highlanders 15-4.
Oak Park Eagles JV got on the board in the first inning when Quest Finnan grounded out, scoring one run.
In the top of the second inning, Royal Highlanders tied things up at one when an error scored one run for Royal Highlanders.
Royal Highlanders pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Spooner singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, Piazza drew a walk, scoring one run, Anselmo drew a walk, scoring one run, and Hart’s sac fly scored one run for Royal Highlanders.
Royal Highlanders scored six runs in the seventh inning. Spooner, Anselmo, Hart, and Stetler all drove in runs in the frame.
