Oak Park Eagles JV Loses Lead Early In Defeat

Oak Park Eagles JV watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 6-3 loss to Agoura Chargers on Friday. Agoura Chargers scored on a groundout by C Weiner in the first inning, a walk by Weiner in the second inning, a single by D Hasenstab in the second inning, and a double by B Rubenstein in the second inning.

Agoura Chargers got things moving in the first inning. Weiner grounded out, scoring one run.

Oak Park Eagles JV put up three runs in the seventh inning. AJ Garcia had an RBI single in the inning to lead the run scoring.

Agoura Chargers scored five runs in the second inning. Agoura Chargers’s big inning was driven by a walk by Weiner, a single by Hasenstab, and a double by Rubenstein.

E Pavone earned the victory on the hill for Agoura Chargers. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out five. J Price, T Hull, and D Brubach all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Jaxon Jordan took the loss for Oak Park Eagles JV. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on one hit and striking out one.

Quest Finnan, Garcia, and Jack Fisher each managed one hit to lead Oak Park Eagles JV.

Agoura Chargers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Weiner had the most chances in the field with nine.
