Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles Can’t Catch Up To Royal Highlanders

Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 16-2 loss to Royal Highlanders on Wednesday. Royal Highlanders scored on a double by Visage in the first inning, a single by Kodlow in the first inning, a groundout by Dunwoody in the first inning, a home run by Peters in the first inning, and a single by Tabora in the second inning.

The Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Royal Highlanders, giving up 16 runs.

Royal Highlanders opened up scoring in the first inning, when Visage doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

Dunwoody was credited with the victory for Royal Highlanders. Dunwoody lasted five innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out seven and walking one. #0 threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
