Camarillo Scorpions Captures Lead Early to Defeat Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles

Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 14-2 loss to Camarillo Scorpions on Wednesday. Camarillo Scorpions scored on a double by N Beck, a single by J Cavander, and a single by W Nickerson in the first inning.

The Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Camarillo Scorpions, giving up 14 runs.

Camarillo Scorpions opened up scoring in the first inning, when Beck doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

T Ito took the win for Camarillo Scorpions. The fireballer went three innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out one and walking zero. C Prieto threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Henry Rizzotti took the loss for Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles. The hurler lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and eight runs while striking out five.

Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles tallied eight hits in the game. Ian Morrison and Breyden Hall each had multiple hits for Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles. Hall and Morrison each collected two hits to lead Oak Park Frosh/Soph Eagles.

Camarillo Scorpions totaled 13 hits in the game. Nickerson, Prieto, Cavander, and M Barlow each racked up multiple hits for Camarillo Scorpions.
