Foothill Tech Dragons Runs Away With Early Lead in Victory

Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 4-2 loss to Foothill Tech Dragons on Friday. Foothill Tech Dragons took the lead on a single in the first inning.

Tristan S earned the victory on the mound for Foothill Tech Dragons. The bulldog allowed six hits and zero runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Jackson and Scott M entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

John Pemberton took the loss for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. The pitcher allowed four hits and four runs over five innings, striking out three.

Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles tallied nine hits in the game. Jackson Weir and Ryan Kobayashi each had multiple hits for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. Weir went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles in hits. Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles stole seven bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Kobayashi led the way with two.

Foothill Tech Dragons tallied six hits on the day. Adam A and M all managed multiple hits for Foothill Tech Dragons.
