Early Lead For Royal Seals Fate For Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles
Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 20-1 loss to Royal on Thursday. Royal scored on a single by Danny Asplund in the first inning, a walk by Eric Komonyi in the first inning, a walk by Landon Parada in the first inning, a fielder’s choice by Gabriel Flores in the first inning, a double by Jayden Williams in the first inning, a single by Parada in the second inning, and a single by Flores in the second inning.
The Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Royal, giving up 20 runs.
