Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles Loses Lead Early in Defeat
Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 8-4 loss to Simi Valley on Thursday. Simi Valley scored on a triple by Aiden Blake, a single by Jacob Campbell, and an error in the first inning.
Simi Valley fired up the offense in the first inning, when Blake tripled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles notched three runs in the seventh inning. The offensive onslaught by Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles was led by Sonny De La Torre and Andrew Rosen, all knocking in runs in the inning.
