Moorpark Musketeers JV Captures Lead Early to Defeat Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles

Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-0 loss to Moorpark Musketeers JV on Thursday. Moorpark Musketeers JV scored on a single by Jack Pryor and a groundout by Nash Sanders in the first inning.

The Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Moorpark Musketeers JV, giving up ten runs.

Moorpark Musketeers JV got things moving in the first inning, when Pryor singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

A single by Ethan Smith in the fifth inning was a positive for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles.

Caelen Eisenstein was credited with the victory for Moorpark Musketeers JV. The hurler lasted six innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out one. John Smith threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Ian Schack took the loss for Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles. The hurler allowed six hits and seven runs over four and a third innings, striking out one.
