Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles Can’t Catch Up To Camarillo JV
Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-1 loss to Camarillo JV on Tuesday. Camarillo JV took the lead on an error in the first inning.
The Oak Park Junior Varsity Eagles struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Camarillo JV, giving up nine runs.
Camarillo JV got things moving in the first inning, when an error scored two runs for Camarillo JV.
Camarillo JV scored five runs in the fourth inning. Sammy Gonzalez, Kameron Kor, Dale Addison, Jack Carrigan, and Jacob Tostado all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Cameron Muldoon led the Camarillo JV to victory on the hill. The ace went five innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out four. Gunnar Stevens threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
