Two Oak Park Eagles Pitchers Combine In Shutout Victory Against Canoga Park

Oak Park Eagles defeated Canoga Park 16-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Ian Schack struck out R Calderon to finish off the game.

Oak Park Eagles fired up the offense in the first inning. Nico De La Torre drew a walk, scoring one run.

Oak Park Eagles notched eight runs in the second inning. Oak Park Eagles’s big bats in the inning were led by singles by Jonathan McDermott, Valor Castroll, and Gavin Manzo, an error on a ball put in play by Ryan Ulmen and Tony Barbello, and a triple by Landon Holmes.

A single by J Fernandez in the first inning was a positive for Canoga Park.

Manzo was credited with the victory for Oak Park Eagles. The pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out five. Schack threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

S Diosdado took the loss for Canoga Park. The hurler allowed seven hits and six runs over three innings, striking out one.

A Villalobos started the game for Canoga Park. The pitcher surrendered ten runs on six hits over two innings, striking out two

Oak Park Eagles totaled 13 hits. Ulmen, McDermott, and Manzo each racked up multiple hits for Oak Park Eagles. Manzo, McDermott, and Ulmen all had two hits to lead Oak Park Eagles.

Fernandez went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Canoga Park in hits.
