Oak Park Eagles Loses Lead Early in Defeat

Oak Park Eagles watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-3 loss to Moorpark Musketeers on Tuesday. Moorpark Musketeers took the lead on a walk in the first inning.

Oak Park Eagles lost despite out-hitting Moorpark Musketeers ten to five.

Moorpark Musketeers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Gaz drew a walk, scoring one run.

Moorpark Musketeers scored eight runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Moorpark Musketeers was led by Orozlo, Gaz, Garcia, Ramirez, Thrift, and Orozlo, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Villa pitched Moorpark Musketeers to victory. Villa surrendered one run on five hits over four innings, striking out four and walking one. #15, #18, and Carter all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Brode Gann took the loss for Oak Park Eagles. The hurler surrendered two runs on two hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one.

Oak Park Eagles racked up ten hits on the day. Aiden Cass, James Pernin, Sean Hurley, and Gavin Gudino all managed multiple hits for Oak Park Eagles. Gudino, Hurley, Pernin, and Cass each managed two hits to lead Oak Park Eagles.
