Oak Park Eagles Claims Lead in Fifth Inning to Defeat Foothill Tech Dragons
Oak Park Eagles ran off with the lead late in the game in a 10-4 victory over Foothill Tech Dragons on Saturday. The game was tied at three with Oak Park Eagles batting in the bottom of the fifth when an error scored two runs for Oak Park Eagles.
Foothill Tech Dragons scored three runs in the fourth inning, but Oak Park Eagles still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Foothill Tech Dragons came thanks to singles by Jackson and Potfuack and an error on a ball put in play by Bishop.
Oak Park Eagles opened up scoring in the first inning. James Pernin doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
In the top of the fourth inning, Foothill Tech Dragons tied things up at three. Foothill Tech Dragons scored one run when Potfuack singled.
