Saturday, May 29th at 10am, the Varsity Oak Park Eagles will face the Foothills Tech Dragons for our 2021 Senior Day game. Everyone is invited to attend to celebrate the close of another season for our Oak Park Eagles. While this season has had unique challenges, our team has risen to meet those challenges and now is our last opportunity to celebrate the successes of the year.

In order to accommodate everyone, we’re asking that you fill out this form to indicate how many team members and family members plan to attend. Please let us know by Tuesday, May 25th.

As you know, there is a lot of construction going on at the Oak Park campus right now. Until this construction is complete, we must abide by two new rules:

• All access to the fields must now occur from Oak Hills Dr. on the west side of the school via the stairs leading up to the Softball fields. Please do not come in from the entrance from the east adjacent to the school parking lot.
• Spectators are no longer allowed to sit along the Right Field Fence line overlooking the game from the parking lot.

Please help us adhere to these new requirements and ensure that everyone remains safe.

Hey everyone! At long last!!!  Before the first pitch, we wanted to let you know a few things…
 

Live Streaming 

Can’t make it to the game? No worries… many of this seasons games will be broadcast either via live video or text-based play-by-play stream. We will be testing several distribution mechanisms, but we will start with the new GameChanger Team Manager app.  For those of you who have followed previous year’s game streams, this new version requires the download of the new app version. You will not be able to watch the stream from the original GameChanger app. If you need help getting setup, please let me know. 

Can’t watch live? No worries… High quality videos for recorded games will still be available on the OP Eagles Baseball site just as in past years. 

On that subject, we are looking for volunteers interested in helping to video or score games for the stream for the fans. If you might be interested, please let me know. 

Snack Shack is Closed… for now

While it is possible the shack may open later in the season, it won’t be for this first week. Please plan accordingly. If we are able to open the shack in the future, we’ll need volunteers to staff it. Stay tuned for details.

Pre-season Form

As discussed in the meeting this evening, we understand transportation will be a challenge for many players this season.  We hope to get a better understanding to help mitigate any issues as quickly as possible.  To that end, please fill out this 2021 Pre-season form to indicate your player’s availability based on the documented transportation guidelines. 
 

Season Financial Support Pledge

Given the short season and heightened restrictions on athletic events, we have opted not to sell banners for the 2021 season.  Instead, we are asking each family to participate by pledging financial support to the program.  To learn the details and pledge your support, please fill out this 2021 Sponsorship Pledge form.
